Lisa's diverse background includes nearly twenty years of business experience in start-up, corporate, and advisory firms. Her expertise includes marketing strategy and implementation, business analysis and strategy, relationship management, writing and communication, distribution and business development, and product development and management. She is experienced in understanding markets, products, risk factors, competitive environments, and opportunities for growth. Lisa's style is collaborative, interactive, and engaging in managing and working with individuals and teams. She is a motivational leader with perspective informed by sense of humor.
Lisa's corporate roles include Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Product Management, for Evergreen Investments. At Evergreen, she was responsible for product management of the firm's advisor-sold offerings, including Evergreen's mutual funds and the top-selling Evergreen Asset Allocation Fund subadvised by GMO, managed accounts, 529, and variable annuity offerings. In 2005, Lisa relaunched the firm's $2 billion large cap core equity fund using an innovative performance fee structure. She has also held several senior level positions with John Hancock Financial Services including Director of Institutional Product Management, John Hancock Funds, and Director of Marketing & Communication, Defined Contribution Products and Services. At John Hancock, Lisa created the John Hancock / Gallup survey, which became a nationally recognized investor behavior research program. She also spent time in New Orleans with Howard, Weill, Labouisse & Friedrichs, an energy investment bank and a division of Legg Mason.
Lisa's advisory services background includes nearly eight years of marketing and business development consulting working with a national client base of more than 40 leading firms including Fidelity, Scudder, MFS, Thomson Financial, Lewtan Technologies, PNC Bank, Deutsche Bank, John Hancock, SunAmerica, and Pan American Life.
Lisa is a graduate of Smith College and is the Co-author of Wealthbuilding, A Consumer's Guide to Making Profitable – and Comfortable – Investment Decisions. Wealthbuilding was published by Dearborn Financial Publishing and was a Book of the Month Club Money Club selection. Currently, she writes the “Fund House” column for Registered Rep Magazine and is a member of the editorial board of Money Management Executive. Lisa is a member of the Boston Club, The Authors' Guild, and The Commonwealth Institute.

The founder and CEO of Conover + Company Communications, Inc., Heather Conover has over 25 years of communication experience in project administration, strategic planning, public education, public participation, community relations, public relations, meeting facilitation, and crisis communications. She has worked with federal, state, and local government agencies and private sector and non-profit clients on various environmental projects and has been involved in water, energy, transportation planning, and economic development projects. Heather has also lived and worked abroad and has overseen projects in more than fifty countries.
Heather has worked with industry groups to develop strategies to influence the development of regulations and laws and has represented clients in their efforts with federal and state regulatory agencies, government impact study groups, governors, legislative committees, individual legislators, and voters. Heather has also counseled federal and state public sector clients on public affairs issues concerning the siting of communications towers, replacement of underground pipelines, transportation and navigation initiatives, and the redevelopment of Brownfields properties.
Heather has overseen public relations programs for numerous private sector clients. Her work includes community and government relations for the siting of new stores for Shaw's Supermarkets throughout New England and a national public relations program for the Boston Park Plaza Hotel's environmental and energy conservation program. This program won the President's Environment and Conservation Challenge Award, the Lung Association Environmental Health Award, Best of Show for Public Relations and platinum and gold awards from the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association International, and a New England Bell Ringer Merit Award from the New England Publicity Club.
Prior to starting her own firm, Heather consulted to Ingalls Public Relations. She was hired to handle the community relations for the introduction of a new subsidiary of the Fortune 500 Zayre Corp., B.J.'s Wholesale Club. Prior to this consultancy, she was vice president for the public relations firm Vivian Kemp & Associates, where she managed the public and community relations for numerous regional and national accounts, such as Morse Shoe, Fayva Shoes, and Anderson Little. At the start of her career, Heather worked as a transportation planner and public affairs liaison for the Massachusetts Port Authority, a quasi-public agency responsible for increasing trade and tourism in the New England region.
Heather holds a B.A. from Sacred Heart University and an M.A. in Urban, Social, and Environmental Policy from Tufts University. She sits on the board of the Environmental Business Council on New England and "e" - inc. She is also a member of the PRSA environmental professional interest section and the Society for Marketing Professional Services.
